Austerfield 2019

We have had a great first day so far. The children loved finding out what their dormitories were like; the two boys have so much room in theirs. This morning we had an amazing time in the animal house. The children were so brave, holding giant millipedes, giant land snails, cockroaches, corn snakes, bearded dragons and a stick insect. After lunch we worked as a team to build some amazing dens in the woods. We were looked after at tea time and had a lovely meal cooked by Sandra; pasta bolognese and garlic bread or fish fingers, chips and beans and a choice of apple pie or ice cream. This evening we have played games and enjoyed the sunshine and have settled down for a Netflix film and hot chocolate in our pyjamas. here's hoping for a peaceful night ahead.......
