Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Primary School

On Monday 6th March, St Matthew's planned and led our whole school collective worship. We enjoyed gathering together and joining the circle!

On Monday 27th February, we were excited to join together in the hall for a whole school collective worship led by Y5/6. Our Chaplaincy Team member supported the planning and delivery of this special collective worship.

On Wednesday 22nd February, we gathered together for an Ash Wednesday Mass to celebrate the beginning of Lent. Parents and carers were invited to share this special Mass too.

We are very excited to introduce and welcome our new Chaplaincy Team at Our Lady's. Please click here for more information and to see the fantastic work they are doing!

On Friday 6th January, we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the Epiphany with a wonderful Mass led by Fr Emmanuel.

On 5th October 2022,  we visited the relics of St Bernadette with three Y6 children. We learnt about St Bernadette's story and we were able to write a prayer which will be taken to Lourdes. We also blessed ourselves with holy water.

We are extremely proud of the KS2 Christmas performance! Well done to all of the children involved.

We made Advent wreaths ready for our whole school Liturgy led by Mrs Gac. Our Advent wreaths will be a focal point for our collective worships over Advent and each class will gather around these together.

To begin the school year, all of the children and staff participated in a Welcome Mass which was delivered by Father Sixtus. At the end of the Mass, to welcome them to full time education, we gifted each of our Reception children with a panel, 'Our Journey of Love, Faith and Growth.' The children were given their special gift from their buddy in Y5/6.
