Jewellery, make up and nails
Please note that jewellery is not permitted to be worn in school with the exception of a small pair of plain, studded earrings and a watch. Earrings must be removed before PE – we do not permit plasters to be worn over earrings during PE.
Children are not permitted to wear make up to school unless there is an agreed non-uniform or dress up day.
Please be reminded that, in line with our health and safety requirements, students are not permitted to wear false or acrylic nails while at school. These nails can pose safety risks during practical lessons, physical activities, and everyday school routines, and may also make it difficult to maintain proper hygiene. To ensure a safe learning environment for all students, we ask that nails remain natural, clean, and of an appropriate length.
